Daisy begged her parents to bring her to dance class at the age of two, and has been dancing ever since. She carried out her formal training at Garden State Ballet, New Jersey Ballet, and The Joffrey NYC, and performed with those companies throughout grade school and high school.
Daisy went on to study Special Education at Boston University, where she was introduced into the Boston dance world. Upon graduation, Daisy spent a few years performing with New Jersey Ballet, before returning to Boston to teach dance at Newton Country Day School and Boston Ballet. She has performed locally with Margot Parsons’ Dance Visions, Commonwealth Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow, and Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble, where she was the Children’s Dance Director for many years.
Daisy currently resides with her family in Reading, where she works at Whitelam Books and as a mom of two. Although she has performed for presidents and popes, what she really loves is to choreograph musicals for schools and community theaters, including Melrose High, Arlington Friends of the Drama, Theatre at the Mount, Colonial Chorus Players, and more. She was also recently seen playing Annie in WRT’s production of Chicago. When she is not driving her kids around, devouring an advance reader copy, or shuffling off to buffalo, Daisy enjoys tending her garden and her Little Free Library, and getting some fresh air with her puppy.
Daisy is forever thankful that she is able to thread dance into the years of her life.
