North Reading School of Ballet is dedicated to providing the highest-quality dance training that fosters an environment of inspiration, accomplishment, and fun. Classes cater to a broad spectrum of ages from 2 and a half to adult and are backed by a talented staff of professionals. Whether your dance ambitions range from casual recreation to serious athlete, the North Reading School of Ballet strives to cultivate creativity and discipline in a family-friendly environment.
North Reading School of Ballet was founded in 1996 by Director Lisa Pulver. Originally established only on the Cecchetti syllabus of classical ballet, the school has since branched off to include many dance genres.
In 2018, Suzanne Baker became the Artistic Director of NRSB and continues to carry on the traditions of classical ballet training.
NRSB provides instruction in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip- hop, and creative movement. Summer camps at the school offer additional classes with dance injury prevention programs, acting workshops, choreography, and character dance.
Starting in 2000, NRSB began competitively exhibiting their talents at regional and national levels. Our teachers and dancers have received recognition for Best Choreography, Excellence in Ballet , Entertainment Challenge and the Xcalibur Award.
