A native of Malden, MA, Alison began her training in classical ballet, jazz, and tap at E. Virginia Williams School of Dance in 1985 at the age of three. She continued her dance studies at Northeast School of Ballet, Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre, and Jeannette Neill Dance Studio. During this period, she danced as company member for Melrose Youth Ballet and Northeast Youth Ballet, both under the direction of Denise Cecere, and performed various soloist roles in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and The Sleeping Beauty. In addition to her ballet training, Ms. Bertone spent four years as a company member with Rainbow Tribe, a Boston-based professional hip-hop company under the direction of Mary V. Mazzulli.
Ms. Bertone currently holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and serves as Clinic Manager and Certified Clinical Instructor for Bay State Physical Therapy in Malden, MA.
