Placement: Students will be placed in classes that are appropriate for their level of physical and mental development. If at any time the director feels that the placement is incorrect, the student will then be changed to the appropriate class.
Make-up Lessons: Please call if you know you are going to be absent. Make-up lessons are offered for absence due to illness and must be used within one month of absence. If you cannot participate due to mild illness or injury, you are encouraged to come to class and watch. Tuition credit is not given in place of make-up lessons.
Notices: Notices are posted on the bulletin board and emailed to every customer. Email is our main source of communication. Please make sure we have your email on file. Send all emails to firstname.lastname@example.org
Teacher Communication: All communication for/with teachers should be done through NRSB email at email@example.com. If you need to reach a specific teacher, write that teachers name in the subject.
Studio Policies: No gum, candy, food, or street shoes are allowed in the studios. There is also no cell phone use during class. Cell phones left in the dressing room should be put on silent to minimize class disruptions.
Recital: Our annual recital takes place in late May/early June. Although it is not mandatory, we encourage participation as it is a rewarding experience and builds confidence. Recital costumes are ordered in late fall and must be paid in full at time of registration.
Closings: We do not follow the North Reading Public School cancellation policy. Cancellations will be determined by 1:00 in the afternoon in the event of bad weather and an email will be sent out as well as social media updates. Please follow us on social media for the latest information!
